Jérôme Cosandey, director for French-speaking Switzerland and head of research "Sustainable Welfare State" of Avenir Suisse, focuses on health care, old-age provision
and the impact of demographic developments on the Swiss social security system. After obtaining his PhD at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) he worked from 2000 til 2005 as a strategic advisor at the Boston Consulting Group, and then at UBS (2005-2009) as Executive Director in the Private Banking department. Furthermore, he holds a Master's Degree in International Economic History from the University of Geneva.
