Oliver Groene is Vice Chairman of the Board at OptiMedis AG, a population health improvement company pursuing the Triple Aim. He is also Founding Director of OptiMedis-Cobic UK Ltd, bringing the OptiMedis Model to the UK market, and served as interim CEO of Gesundheit für Billstedt/Horn UG, a management company applying population health improvement principles in a deprived borough of the city of Hamburg. He holds an Msc and PhD in Public Health (LSHTM/UPF), DEA in Health Services Research and MA in medical sociology and organizational sciences and has been trained in health services research, quality improvement and biostatistics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Harvard School of Public Health and the Joint Commission (H-Index=45). He is Professor at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Society at the University of Witten/Herdecke.
