Institutions are systemic structures that require a culture of feedback and learning. As a leader, we are repeatedly exposed to interesting areas of conflict that need to be worked on together: clear goal orientation vs. the greatest possible flexibility, company interests vs. people orientation, clear roles vs. as much self-organization as possible.
Ursula Bonhage is a pharmacist and biologist from ETH Zurich. She worked in the pharmaceutical industry, headed the MAS in Managed Health Care at the Winterthur Institute of Health Economics as well as the continuous education at the Department of Life Sciences and Facility Management of the ZHAW. After some years as head of the Swiss Institute for Entrepreneur Training, she took over as head of Careum further education. She holds certificates in health economics, pedagogy and didactics, business mediation and is currently completing her MBA in digital transformation.
