Karin Strube, born in Germany, spent her childhood in Brazil with her parents from the age of eight to nineteen. She pursued her studies in Physics in München, Germany, and encountered a challenging turn of events during her master's thesis when she fell ill with a rare sarcoma. Undeterred, she underwent intensive treatment and successfully completed her studies, subsequently joining Robert Bosch GmbH. With a diverse background, Karin worked in various technical roles in manufacturing, research and development, and business development. Together with her husband, she spent five years working for Bosch in Japan. However, when her mother faced a rare autoimmune illness, Karin transitioned to part-time work to support her parents. Tragically, her mother passed away in 2017. In honor of her mother, Karin, along with her father, decided to establish a foundation. The foundation focuses on shared decision-making, patient support, and charitable endeavors as key pillars of its mission.
